Bud Light Lime Surf Series Contest Format (View Drawboard)
Judges use ASP guidelines and criteria 
Men's Format:
  • 32 Men
  • Random Draw - Athletes are arbitrarily placed in heats
  • Each athlete surfs in round 1 and 2
  • Top 2 waves counted from round’s 1 and 2
  • After rounds 1 and 2, the top 16 athletes advance to rounds 3 and 4
  • Top 2 scores from round 3 and 4 are counted
  • After rounds 3 and 4, the top 4 athletes advance to the finals
  • Final consists of 2 heats
  • The top 2 scores are counted to determine finish placement
 
Women's Format  
  •  8 Women
  •  Random Draw - Athletes are arbitrarily placed in heats
  •  Each athlete surfs in round 1 and 2
  •  Top 2 waves counted from round’s 1 and 2
  •  After rounds 1 and 2, top 4 athletes advance to finals
  •  Final consists of 2 heats
  •  The top 2 scores are counted to determine finish placement
